Shatter Abbas Restaurant

Update: Unfortunately, I recently found out that it's NOT HALAL. I had asked the waitress before we dined, and she assured me it was, but a few weeks later, some Iranian friends visited and were told it wasn’t Halal. The Persian food here is delicious. I especially like the Fesenjan, and my sister-in-law loved the Kashkeh Badenjan. My nieces and nephew enjoyed the Baghali Polo. We also ordered Platter 2, which included kabab, berg, and jojeh kabab, but I was too full to try it.

This place is amazing, top quality food, well cooked Iranian BBQ, chicken was juicy, meat will melt in your mouth top with grilled tomatoes and there complimentary Lentils soup was a good start. Now let’s talked about how Iranian cook their rice you need to watch YouTube video for that. Iranian take a special bride in making their rice, only Iranian first and second by Iraqi knows how to make rice, we tried three kinds of rice see photos. Overall it’s worth to make a pilgrimage to this place. This is one of the best, take my advice as I tried free Iranian restaurant. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Glad didn’t go with the bad reviews as this place needs to be 4.5 at the minimum. The staff is so respectful and polite and were a delight throughout our dining experience. Now the most important aspect is the food, it was incredibly fresh and flavourful. We got Combination of 4 skewers of kebabs: beef tenderloin, chicken breast, two skewers of ground beef, two saffron basmati rice plus another koobideh kebob with cucumber yogurt. Loved it all and highly recommend to give this place a shot. You wont be disappointed. Will be back again for mode delicious food and service.

Our family had an incredible dinner at Shatter Abbas! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service made the experience even better. they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and made us feel truly welcomed. From start to finish, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

One of the best Persian restaurants I’ve ever been to! The kebabs were juicy and full of flavor, and the rice was soft and aromatic. Great service, friendly staff, and a warm, authentic atmosphere. If you’re craving real Persian food, Shater Abbas is a must-try!

Look! Their meals are on the next level of taste! Unbeatable, incomparable. Need proof? Simply try "Koobideh," which is the cheapest option, though!

We recently visited the Shatter Abbas in Thornhill, Despite the peak hours, the attendant efficiently secured a table for us, making our wait comfortable. Our journey began with the Chicken Barley Soup – each barley pearl was a burst of flavor, with that slight sour twist that took it to another level. For the main course, we opted for Platter a combination of 9 skewers featuring beef tenderloin, chicken leg, chicken breast, shishlik (lamb rack), and five skewers of ground beef. Served with saffron basmati rice and the local Persian yogurt drink 'dough,' buttermilk. every dish was cooked to perfection, but the real star was the shishlik (lamb chops) not too dry, not too chewy, just juicy goodness. We loved it so much that we ordered an extra plate! Looking forward to another visit in the future. Highly recommended for a delightful Persian culinary experience!
